Journey to Hope Memorial

Kellie Pierce

Kellie 6/18/79 – 5/17/20  Kel was an amazing mother of Christian (6yo), Jermaine (13), and Jayden (17) Pierce. A loving daughter of Peg Pierce and sister of Shawn, Melissa and Angela Pierce. It has been 3 months today since her overdose and since it was at our house we feel the feelings daily. It’s been really hard because of COVID19 and not being able to have closure or share with her friends and family so we are so glad we can memorialize her here.

Kel was loved by many and had such a unique sense of humor that you would smile the second she opened her mouth. Her favorite times were driving while jamming to the music, spending time with her kids at the beach, she loved her Pepsi (and God forbid if you took any) lol. And she was always there to help anyone in need. Her last acts were to go buy sneakers with her stimulus check and walked down Main St. in Worcester giving them out to those in need.

None of us will know why she relapsed but we do know it was the benzodiazepines or cocaine laced with fentanyl that killed her. She didn’t ask to have an addiction. It is a disease that has run through my family for generations just like diabetes or other diseases.

The kids want you to know “They love you to the moon and back”. We miss you with all our hearts and knowing you are with dad and your son Isaiah gives us some peace.

Love ya Kel and just wish we had more time with you, more hugs, more laughs and making more memories ♥️
