At NOWA, we follow a peer recovery support model. This means that we are all equals, and our voices make a difference. We believe that “anything about us without us is not for us”, and that is how we operate NOWA. 

Being peers at NOWA also means that we all support one another without judgment, in order to support each others’ recovery processes. All of our staff are in recovery, too!

We welcome anyone who is in recovery, seeking recovery, is an ally of the recovery community, and families and friends of those in recovery or seeking recovery.
